A Four-Month Initiation Into Archetype, Eros, and the Living Body

A Four-Month Initiation Into Archetype, Eros, and the Living Body

Archetype. Shadow. Somatics. Myth. Dream. Sexology. Erotic Ecology.

TABOO is a live group mentorship exploring the archetypal forces shaping who we have learned to become, what we have been forbidden from becoming, and how these inherited stories live in our bodies, relationships, sexuality, desires, and creative lives.

October 22, 2026–January 2027

12 live calls · 4 circles and ceremonies · Closed mentorship group

There are women we have been warned not to become.

The Bitch.
The Witch.
The Hag.
The Shrew.
The Slut.
The woman who wants too much.
The woman who refuses to comply.
The woman who cannot be made palatable.
The woman who has stopped arranging her life around being chosen.

She has been condemned, desired, mocked, punished, hidden, and projected onto other women.

But she has never left the room.

And there are other women we have been taught to perform:

The Virgin.
The Madonna.
The Damsel.
The Good Girl.
The Devoted Mother.
The woman who is desirable but never desiring.
The woman who gives without needing.
The woman who disappears beautifully.

These figures live beyond stories.

They live in our bodies, relationships, dreams, fantasies, fears, symptoms, creative lives, and unconscious loyalties.

They shape what and who we desire. Who we judge. What we hide. What we fake. What we punish in ourselves and project onto other people.

TABOO is a four-month group mentorship devoted to meeting these figures—and the desires, fears, and erotic forces they carry—with conscious curiosity.

Together, we will enter the myths, archetypes, and forbidden identities that have shaped our understanding of femininity, power, sex, belonging, aging, goodness, monstrosity, death, and rebirth.

Not to replace one acceptable identity with another.

Not to crown the Witch and condemn the Madonna.

Not to turn the Slut, Hag, or Bitch into another flattened image of empowerment.

We are going beneath the black-and-white thinking.

We are asking what each figure protects, what she carries, what she has been made to represent, and what becomes possible when we stop banishing her from the psyche and the body.

THE EROTIC BODY

Eroticism is larger than sex.

It is sensation, longing, appetite, imagination, and creative force—the current that moves us toward what feels alive.

And yet, many of us have learned how to be desired without knowing what we desire. We have learned to perform pleasure, override the body, and shape our sexuality around the expectations of others.

Through sexology, body mapping, somatic inquiry, and erotic ecology, we will explore how desire lives in the body, how it has been shaped by our relationships and the world around us, and how sexual energy can return us to our creativity, agency, and truest desires.

This is not about fixing the body or forcing it to open.

It is about becoming intimate with its terrain.

What We’ll Explore

Archetype + depth psychology

To explore the figures and unconscious forces moving through our identities, relationships, and cultural stories.

Somatic inquiry

To notice where these stories live in the body—as tension, collapse, performance, pleasure, refusal, longing, and instinct.

Dream Work

To listen for the images, characters, conflicts, and desires emerging from beneath conscious awareness.

Shadow theatre + creative practice

To give shape, voice, movement, and form to what cannot always be reached through conversation.

Ritual and ceremony

To mark thresholds, deepen relationship with the archetypes, and allow insight to become embodied experience.

You do not need to be an artist, performer, scholar, or expert in any of these practices.

You only need a willingness to become curious about what appears.

Together, we will create a living theatre of the psyche—one in which the hidden figure can step forward, speak, move, disturb the old story, and reveal what she has been carrying.

Myth + storytelling

To examine the narratives we have inherited, whose voices have been erased, and how these stories might be entered and told differently.

THE ARCHETYPAL FIELD

Our work will be held by mythic figures including:

The Great Mother
Creator and devourer. Womb and tomb. The one who nourishes life—and the one whose love can consume it.

Inanna
Queen of Heaven who enters the underworld and is stripped of every symbol of identity, power, and protection.

Persephone
Maiden, abducted daughter, and underworld queen. The one who crosses between innocence and knowing, life and death, belonging and separation.

Mary Magdalene
Beloved, witness, apostle, erotic projection, and woman rewritten by history.

The Cailleach
Ancient hag and winter-maker. She who shapes the land, governs the dark season, and cannot be reduced to youth or beauty.

Alongside them, we will encounter the cultural characters used to discipline, divide, idealize, sexualize, and condemn women:

The Hag. The Virgin. The Prostitute. The Slut. The Orphan. The Outcast. The Shrew. The Madonna. The Damsel. The Bitch. The Witch.

We will not approach these figures as fixed personality types.

We will meet them as living psychic and erotic forces—appearing in our dreams, relationships, bodies, desires, creative lives, fantasies, fears, and the roles we perform in order to belong.

YOU MAY FEEL CALLED TO ENTER TABOO IF…

    • ou are fascinated by archetypes, myth, dreams, symbolism, depth psychology, or the unconscious—but want to experience them through the body, not only understand them intellectually.

    • You want to explore your relationship with femininity, sexuality, anger, power, aging, goodness, monstrosity, death, and rebirth without being given another correct identity to perform.

    • You want to know your eroticism as your own—not only through performance, expectation, or the gaze of another.

    • You feel something unlived pressing beneath the surface of your life and want to listen more closely to what it desires.

    • You are curious about sexual energy as a source of creativity, aliveness, relationship, and expression.

    • You are ready to meet your contradictions without forcing them into a story of either shame or empowerment.

    • You long for a space where the strange, erotic, difficult, grotesque, tender, or socially unacceptable can be approached with curiosity.

    • You want to create, move, dream, experiment, and be witnessed—not only analyze yourself from a distance.

Meet Your Guides

Alli Rune, (she/her)
Somatic Therapist, Somatic Educator, Artist & Shadow Theater Facilitator, Founder of Primordial Medicine

I am fascinated by the ways we learn to contort ourselves in order to belong. Born with spina bifida, my life has been shaped by a deep curiosity about adaptation, resilience, embodiment, healing, and the intelligence of the body. My work weaves somatic therapy, ritual, shadow theater, symbolic process, nervous system healing, depth psychology, and mythopoetic exploration.

I am a somatic therapist, somatic educator, artist, and shadow theater facilitator. I am queer, neurodivergent, sober, fiercely loving, endlessly curious, and convinced that absurdity is medicine. I am shaped by animals, art, community, grief, laughter, and the ongoing practice of living with my heart broken open and becoming more fully alive in our holy human messiness.

Amy Danu (she/they/ki)

Amy is a trauma-transformation clinical somatic and movement therapist, sexologist, erotic ecologist, EcoSomatic practitioner, artist and ceremonialist, supporting those she works with to drive social change through a meaningful relationship to the web of life. Drawn to myths as maps, Amy’s activism moves through the body as an art form, curiously communing with the landscape of earth, soma and the liminal, casting shadows of oral storytelling, movement, craft, collaborative exploration and ritual, to spark the possibility of a regenerative and deeply loving worldview. She is the Founder at Of Earth & Eros, a place dedicated to helping folks working at the edge of a dismantling paradigm to explore the healing power of nature, soma, environmental and social justice, land-honouring practices and eroticism as life force.
